After graduating from Plymouth University in 2014 as a Building Surveyor, Theo worked as a carpenter with a large local contractor where he gained valuable experience in the construction industry, in both the commercial and residential sectors. Theo joined DRPL in April 2016, where he has become a valuable member of the DRPL team.
Theo’s responsibilities include assisting with:
- Project management
- Employer’s Agent and Contract Administration
- Preparation of technical specifications and undertaking design reviews of design and construction drawings
- Preparation of tender and contract documentation
- Monitoring of construction works and delivery of non-conformance procedures
- Key stage / snagging / de-snagging inspections and co-ordination of the handover process
- Building defect analysis
- Building condition surveys
- Party Wall matters
- Dilapidation advice
- Independent fund monitoring roles for funders
